About Dorcas Society
The Dorcas Society is one of the oldest outreach ministries of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, officially named in 1879. It takes its name from Dorcas (Tabitha) in Acts 9, known for compassion toward the poor. The society gathers and distributes clothing, food, and essential supplies to families in need.
