Your First Sabbath

What happens when you arrive

From the car park to after the service โ€” here's the full walk-through so nothing catches you off guard.

  1. 1

    Pull into the car park

Parking is available on church grounds. If it's a busy Sabbath, you'll find space along Mutaba Road โ€” greeters can point you the right way.

  2. 2

You'll be greeted at the door

Look for our welcome team at the main entrance. They'll say hello, answer quick questions, and help you find your way โ€” no awkward standing around.

  3. 3

Drop your kids off (if you have them)

From 8:00 AM, Sabbath School classes run by age group. Our team will help you find the right room and check your children in safely.

  4. 4

    Find a seat โ€” anywhere

There's no reserved seating. Ushers are happy to help, especially if it's your first time. Sit wherever you feel comfortable.

  5. 5

    After the service

Stay for a few minutes if you can. Meet the pastor, grab a welcome gift, and let someone know you came โ€” we'd love to connect with you.

Just for Kids

Your kids are in good hands

If you have children, they're your top priority โ€” and they're ours too. Our Sabbath School team creates a safe, fun environment where kids learn about Jesus.

Where to go:From 8:00 AM, follow signs to the Sabbath School wing. Greeters at the door will point you to the right class for each child's age.

Check-in: A teacher will welcome your child, take their name, and make sure you know where to collect them after class.

During the 10:00 AM main service, children worship with their families. We include a special Children's Story just for them.

What to Expect

What should I wear?

One of the most Googled questions before visiting a new church โ€” here's the honest answer.

Smart casual is perfect

Most people wear smart casual โ€” shirts, dresses, or neat trousers. You'll fit right in without dressing up.

No suits required

Come as you are. You'll see everything from smart dresses to jeans. What matters is that you're here.

From Our Pastor

A personal welcome

Hear directly from our pastoral team before you arrive โ€” a quick hello can make all the difference.

Video coming soon

A short welcome from our pastor will appear here. In the meantime, we're genuinely glad you're considering a visit.

Common Questions

Things people wonder before their first visit

Honest answers to the questions visitors are often too shy to ask out loud.

Will someone pressure me to give money?

No. Offering is completely voluntary and we never call out visitors. If you're new, just enjoy the service โ€” no one will ask you to stand up or give.

How long is the service?

Main worship runs about two hours (10:00 AM โ€“ 12:00 PM). Sabbath School beforehand is another two hours if you'd like to join. Come for all of it, or just the main service โ€” you're welcome either way.

Do I need to bring a Bible?

Not at all. We project Scripture on screen and pew Bibles are available. If you have a favourite Bible, bring it โ€” but it's completely optional.

What is Sabbath School?

Think of it as small-group Bible study before the main service. Adults and kids meet in separate classes to discuss the week's lesson. It's friendly, conversational, and great for asking questions.

Is this only for Adventists?

Absolutely not. Everyone is welcome โ€” whether you're exploring faith for the first time, visiting from another church, or just curious. Come as you are.
